Burma to participate in ASEAN Food Festival in Delhi

Delhi is to witness Millennium's first food festival of ASEAN countries
soon. The ASEAN Food Festival sponsored by Maurya Sheraton Hotel and
Towers in India will be held from 27 February to 4 March at Maurya
Sheraton Hotel in New Delhi. The hotel management said that the best of
cuisine from ASEAN countries will be available at the festival and
expert chefs will be flown in from Burma for the Burmese cuisine.

It is learnt that all the 10 member countries of ASEAN are going to
participate in the festival. Food of four countries would be available
each day during the one-week long festival and ticket for a buffet is
Rs. 550.

The festival is to be inaugurated in the evening of 26th February at
Maurya Sheraton Hotel and diplomats from ASEAN countries including
Burmese Embassy officials in New Delhi will join the inauguration.
