Workshop on India-Burma business cooperation held in Rangoon

A workshop on India-Burma cooperation in development of small and medium
enterprises was held in Rangoon yesterday, according to the
government-controlled newspaper. The Union of Myanmar Federation of
Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and the Eastern India
Federation of Chamber of Industry (EIFCI) jointly organized the
workshop, aiming to promote business cooperation between the two
neighboring countries.
Burmese deputy minister for Commerce Brig. Gen. Kyaw Hsan, president of
UMFCCI Mr. Win Myint, Indian Ambassador to Burma Mr. Shyam Saran and
president of EIFCI Mr. Sumit Mazumdar were among present in the one-day
workshop, said the "New Light of Myanmar" today.
