Protest Action in South Africa (r)

Free Burma Campaign (South Africa) did protest action in Pretoria, this =
afternoon 20th April in front of SPDC embassy. This protest in =
conjunction with the worldwide action calling on the SPDC to release Min =
Ko Naing, Dr. Saw Mra Aung and all other political prisoners in Burma. =
The protest action was join by University of Durban Westville, =
University of Witwatersrand, University of South Africa and local =
activists. Burmese democracy movement symbolic colour yellow balloons =
printed "Free Min Ko Naing" "Free All political Prisoners" were flood in =
front of the SPDC embassy. After the protest action, FBC activists throw =
the yellow balloons inside the embassy premise. Pretoria Newspaper will =
cover this protest action.
The South Africa Free Burma Campaign will also take the form of mailing =
this appeal and the message on a balloon to every South African =
parliamentarian It is a matter of great embarrassment that our country =
hosts an embassy of the Burmese military junta.
The FBCSA press statement distributed to Department of Foreign Affairs, =
all parliamentarians, Ngos and local diplomats and South African =
community. .
