Description: This initial, hand-written report provides an organogram of the Karen Christian Relief Committee and the names of its officers. It gives the names and province of 6 camps, (Mae La, Maw Po Kay, Noh Bow, Mae Daray, Mae Taw Wah, Hpumpalu -- names/spelling change slightly in subsequent reports), a map, the names of the camp leaders, refugee numbers (9005 total) disaggregated by families, gender and age and lists the main food requirements, with costs. The report is not dated, but since the total numbers are 903 fewer than the next report (10 April) this one was probably written in February-March 1984.....Total number of refugees in the camps, 9,005.
