We welcome Prime Minister Trudeau?s appointment of Bob Rae as Canada?s Special Envoy to Myanmar. However, we are disappointed that Mr. Rae?s interim report overlooks the systemic nature of Burmese military oppression against all ethnic minorities in Burma.
