''1. The Burma Laws (Adaptation) Act, 1940 (Burma Act X X V II, 1940), directed that the Legal
Practitioners (Fees) Act, 1926 (India Act X X I, 1926)เ shall be inserted as sections 41, 42, 43 and
44 of this Act.
Sections 41 to 44 apply to advocates of the High Court also \ see the definition of “ legal
practitioner " in section 2 (a) of the Legal Practitioners (Fees) Act, 1926 (India Act X X I of 1926).
