Description:

"The Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA), in association with Human Rights Education Institute of Burma (HREIB), Burma Partnership, and the Alternative ASEAN Network on Burma (ALTSEAN-Burma), urges the United Nations Human Rights Council to remain seized of the serious and on-going human rights abuses occurring in Myanmar. Most pre-existing repressive legislations remain in place with several new laws providing a justification for more restrictions...".....Written NGO statement to the 22th Session of UN Human Rights Council.
