Introduction: "The Convention on Education was held June 8-9, 2013 at the Yangon Blind School (Kaweichan), in Mayangone Township, Yangon. The participants in the convention offered their advice on educational policy. Their advice included both foundational principles as well as advice in 13 specific areas. The foundational principles included equal rights for all citizens, promotion of human dignity, and educational freedom. The 13 specific areas of education addressed were: 1. Early Childhood Education... 2. Free, Compulsory Basic Education (Primary and Middle school to gr.9)... 3. Basic Secondary /High School Education... 4. Post-Secondary / Higher Education... 5.
