Parliament gives nod to National Planning bill and four others: "THE 13th regular session of the First Pyidaungsu Hluttaw passed five bills including the National Planning Bill for the fiscal year 2016-2017 on its 33rd day meeting yesterday. During a session for the seeking of final approval on the National Planning Bill 2016- 2017, Union Minister for National Planning and Economic Development Dr Kan Zaw replied that there should be an original version for targeted GDP growths of each sector as targets can be met while replacing state-owned investments with private sector ones. Next the Parliament gave a nod to the National Planning Bill and four other bills that include the Union Budget Bill for 2016, the Pesticide Bill, the New Plan Species Protection Bill, and the Criminal Procedure Amendment Bill."
