Pyithu Hluttaw 4 February, 2015: Ministries concerned striving for construction of industrial zones meeting international standards

" Nay Pyi Taw, 4 Feb— Pyithu Hluttaw (Lower House) continued for the 12th day at its hall, here, on Wednesday. U Tin Maung Oo of Shwepyitha Constituency asked whether or not ministries concerned will solve standardization of industrial zones and disputes of land plots at the zones. Deputy Minister for Industry U Myo Aung replied that ministries concerned are striving for construction of industrial zones meeting international standards. These ministries solve the problems on land plots for land ownership and squatters. In some regions and states, respective industrial zone management committees of region and state governments and industrial zone management committees inspect land plots where no industry is operated for returning them to the government. U Khin Maung Shwe of Tamu Constituency asked whether there is a plan to sink well and carry out water supply to Tamu and construction of local asphalt road. Deputy Minister at the President Office U Aung Thein replied that K316.20 million of border region fund has been allotted for placing asphalt on a four-mile long local roads in Tamu in 2015-16 fiscal year. He added that Sagaing Region Development Affairs Committee has a plan to repair a public lake near Myoma Sasana Yeiktha in Tamu by spending K2 million in 2015-16 fiscal year. U Nyan Swe Win of Kyaukkyi Constituency submitted a proposal calling for allowing rights of political pension under the law. Deputy Minister at the President Office U Aung Thein explained it needs to draw a new political pension law enacted as Pyithu Hluttaw Law No 4 in 1980 as it is not conformity with the present time. The Hluttaw approved the proposal."
