Chin State is one of the most isolated, economically marginalized regions of Burma/Myanmar. Borders India and Bangladesh. Rakhine St. Armed resistance to Burma/Myanmar military rule sporadic in Chin St. but increasing Tatmadaw (Myanmar army) occupation since early 1990s.
